AIMS AND OBJECTIVE OF TSI

	To promote the science of tribology.
	To provide a common forum for Industrialists, engineers, technologists, scientists and others   to meet and to foster the advancement of tribology.
	To organize and conduct activities of interest of the members such as holding of meetings,   arranging of lectures etc.
	To disseminate scientific and technical information of interest to the members through   publication of periodicals, reports etc., and proceedings of conference.
	To collaborate with other national and international bodies pursuing similar aims and    objectives.
