Become Long Term Individual Member and Student member
 
1.0 Who can become a member?
   
     (a) A Member shall be an individual  who is a scientist, an engineer, a teacher,  or an executive or a writer in the technical or industrial field involving tribology.
   
2.0 How do you benefit by becoming a member?
   
 
(a) You get in contact with fellow tribologists with whom you can interact directly or during the various seminars/conferences/workshops organized by the        society.
   
(b) You are in touch with what is happening through newsletters/journals of the society.
   
(c) You get discounts in registration fee for the conferences/courses organized by the Society.
   
3.0 How can you become  a member?
   
      (a) To become a member you have to be  enrolled  with the society on application by paying very nominal membership fee as below :
   
 
 (i) Long Term Individual Member   : Rs 5900/- (inclusive of 18% GST)
 
 (ii) Student Member   : Rs 1180/- (inclusive of 18% GST)
 
    (b) You can enroll yourself for the TSI Life Membership / Student Membership by just filling the online membership formbelow . Please send the membership         fee by DD in favour of "Tribology Society of India" Payable at Faridabad, along with Membership Form (click here to get the pdf membership form for         downloading ) at the following address:

     d) Student Membership:
     i. The applicable to bonafide students during their Under Graduate / Post Graduate studies. Such applicants should enclose proof such as letter from Head of Department / Principal certifying current status as Student every year. (Mandatory of Valid Student ID & Bonafide Certificate).
     ii. Upgrade their Membership to Individual Long term Membership on passing out or discontinuing studies.
     iii. After completion of studies, the Students apply for Individual Membership of TSI by paying the differential amount of the Individual Membership fee.
     iv. Each member of TSI is requested update their details by furnishing current contact information and professional profile to TSI through letter, email or online through the website of TSI www.tribologyindia.org.
     e) However, Executive Committee of TSI reserves the right to discontinue or suspend the membership of any individual and its Membership Privileges withdrawn, if the Member fails to update contact details / professional profile etc. after three years or fails to respond to the reminders from TSI to this effect.
